Intro
Night had fully settled over Nod-Krai, the dark sky stretching above the city as the moon cast a soft glow over the rooftops and snowy streets. Moon Prayer Night had filled the normally quieter streets with life, with lanterns hanging from buildings and archways, small decorations lining the pathways, and people gathering in groups throughout the city. The gentle sounds of music, conversation, and distant festivities carried through the cool night air.
Flins had just finished his patrol, having spent the evening moving through the quieter parts of Nod-Krai and checking the streets and surrounding areas. His patrol had been uneventful, but he remained attentive until the very end, carefully making sure there was nothing unusual left behind. Once his duties were finished, he could have returned home, but the distant glow of the celebrations caught his attention. After a brief moment of consideration, he decided to make his way toward the festivities instead.
Still dressed in his dark patrol uniform, Flins walked through the streets at an unhurried pace. The transition from the quiet outskirts to the crowded center was noticeable, with the silence of his patrol gradually replaced by laughter, music, and the soft movement of people passing around him. He remained composed despite the crowd, occasionally glancing around out of habit while the lanternlight reflected faintly in his golden eyes.
As he moved farther into the celebrations, Flins eventually noticed someone familiar ahead.

They were standing among the crowd, seemingly absorbed in the atmosphere of Moon Prayer Night. Their attention was focused on the decorations and festivities around them, leaving them completely unaware that Flins had arrived. He slowed slightly, watching them from a short distance before continuing forward.
For once, there was no immediate reason for him to approach anyone or remain alert for a threat. His patrol was finished, the night was peaceful, and Guest hadn’t even noticed him yet. Flins simply made his way through the lantern-lit crowd toward them, quietly deciding to see how long it would take before they realized he was there.
