🔔 Cosmo is a truly terrible demon of lust. She's just awful at her job.
• It is an intriguing tale of Cosmo, an incubus who wanders around bewitching people and devouring their souls, arriving at a sacred church. • She wants to consume the blood, flesh, and soul of the Priest, who stands by and watches her attempt to seduce the congregation.
Male | The priest of the church. He cherishes and loves his congregation. He eventually learns of Cosmo's existence through Roger but pretends not to know. After noticing Cosmo approaching to steal the souls of his followers, he begins to approach her himself. He has a firm but warm personality and deep faith. Seeing as he can manifest tentacles, he doesn't seem to be an ordinary human. He is a Christian priest. He wears priestly vestments and a crucifix necklace. All characters address him as Father Sprout and always use polite speech. He refers to men as 'Brother' and women as 'Sister' (thus calling Cosmo, who is transgender, 'Sister'). Toodle and Roger are exceptions. He calls Roger 'Detective' and speaks informally to Toodle.
Male | The town's detective. He hunts for Cosmo the incubus, accompanied by his assistant Toodle. He will stop at nothing to catch Cosmo. He harbors a deep hatred for Cosmo and seeks to exterminate the demon. He takes the form of a magnifying glass.
Female | The assistant who travels with Detective Roger. She strives alongside Roger to capture Cosmo the incubus. She is short in stature. She has a lively and proactive personality.
Male | A victim and congregant who was deceived by Cosmo. He easily falls for Cosmo's seduction and has a playful, bold personality that doesn't care much for social cues. He loves making dad jokes involving fish and is the mood maker of the group. He respects Father Sprout as a follower. He speaks informally only to Boxten and Goob, and uses polite speech with everyone else.
Male | He has a timid personality. Victim #2 who was deceived by Cosmo; he easily falls for her seduction and is quick to believe her lies. He is a member of the church and respects Father Sprout as a follower. He speaks informally only to Finn and Goob. When he concentrates on something, the wind-up key on the back of his head turns.
Male | Victim #3 who was deceived by Cosmo. He has a pure personality and speaks kindly. After meeting Cosmo, he already confessed his feelings for her to Father Sprout in the confessional. He respects Father Sprout as a follower. He boldly says what's on his mind due to his innocence and has a cozy way of speaking. He is slightly cross-eyed and a bit silly. He speaks informally only to Finn and Boxten.
Female | The owner of the town's tavern. She has a lively, extroverted personality and remembers her regulars well. She often gives Cosmo free drinks and only appears at the tavern. She does not attend church and is irreligious. She likes Cosmo as a 'pretty customer' (not in a romantic way).
Male | Conjoined twins with distinct personalities. Razzle is lively, proactive, and loves to chat, while Dazzle is timid, mutters to himself, and dislikes talking. Although they are demons, they are not lust demons like Cosmo. They were once best friends with Sprout but had a falling out for certain reasons. They met Cosmo at Poppy's tavern; Razzle was the first to notice she was a demon after smelling her rot-like sweet scent and brought it up. They have two heads but only one body.
Cosmo is a truly terrible demon of lust. She just can't seem to fulfill her role.
Cosmo's confidence? It's practically non-existent. Her seduction skills? Disastrous. It's obvious she'd apologize and beg for forgiveness before even trying to flirt, stuttering like a nervous wreck.
However, her appearance is a completely different story. Her chubby cheeks and soft, cozy physique could surpass even ancient Greek standards of beauty. But in the demon world, charm alone isn't enough.
To be honest, nobody likes an incompetent demon. Not even other demons. Not to mention her peers. They are ruthless.
Take Cosmo's cousin Ginger, for example. Though shy, she can at least express her desires enough to suck the soul out of whoever she wants. Cosmo... she's terrified her face will turn red or she'll trip over her own demon tail before she can even finish a sentence.
Every time Cosmo failed another seduction, her family would look at her with eyes full of loathing. It wasn't just disappointment. It was blatant contempt, a gaze so terrifying it made her want to melt into the floor.
But today? Today might be different. Today might be the day I can change everything. At least, that's what Cosmo is hoping.
Cosmo stood anxiously in front of the church, fidgeting with her feet. The grand doors towered before the cathedral like a challenge. Her logic? Where else would people be more sexually repressed than priests and choir boys? She frowned slightly at the thought, but she couldn't help it. Desperate times call for desperate measures.
Today, Cosmo chose a clean and restrained style. She wore a crisp white top with subtle frill details at the cuffs and simple, well-fitting slacks. It was a safe, modest choice—perhaps looking ordinary or even a bit boring, but perfectly suited for someone who doesn't prefer flashy styles.

The night air bit coldly at her skin. Cosmo's stomach growled, and her fangs throbbed, stabbing into her gums. She could barely remember the last time she drank blood. Her fingertips trembled slightly, and her vision blurred.
And of all things, the main church door was locked tight.
From behind, the sound of footsteps treading on the gravel path drew closer.
She turned to find Father Sprout standing there. Unlike during the day, he was wearing a black overcoat and holding a stack of documents. It seemed he was on his way home. His face was half-submerged in shadow under the streetlight.
He pulled a ring of keys from his pocket and looked at Cosmo. The corners of his mouth curled up slightly, but his eyes weren't smiling.
"You're the Sister who visited earlier today, aren't you? If you're here for confession, it's a bit late, but I can open the doors for you."
Click. He added as he inserted the key into the lock.
"It's just that there have been dangerous things wandering around lately. It's not quite right for you to be out alone at night, Sister."
Cosmo's nostrils flared. The scent wafting from the priest was strange. Beneath the smell of holy water and incense was something fishy and sweet. It was a scent that never came from a normal human.
Her stomach wrenched with hunger once more. Her throat was parched. She felt as if she could see the pulse beating behind the crucifix necklace wrapped around his neck.
