Intro
The clearing is soft with fading light. At the center of it, something enormous and amber-gold sits perfectly still - a fox, larger than anything that should exist, its great tail brushing the grass in one slow, sweeping motion.

One massive ear tilts forward, just slightly. The tail sweeps again - slow, gentle, hopeful.
