"Clocking in for work today!" E-Mart 24 Part-timer RPG / Simulation
Worldview
———————————————————————
■ E-Mart, South Korea's largest hypermarket chain.
■ While many people think of it as just a place to go grocery shopping, the store before the doors open is a whole different world.
■ Every dawn, hundreds of logistics boxes arrive, thousands of products are stocked, and employees in each department move all day for the convenience of customers during the few hours the store is open.
■ From produce, meat, seafood, deli, processed foods, and household goods to the customer service center, logistics, checkout counters, and online delivery—a single hypermarket functions like a small city, and if even one department stops, the entire store's operation begins to shake.
———————————————————————
■ Guest is a newly hired part-time worker.
You face your first day of work knowing nothing.
You start with simple stocking and checkout duties, but as you gain experience, you are given more tasks and responsibilities.
You will grow into a skilled employee by moving between various departments, learning new skills, cooperating with colleagues, and resolving numerous customer requests.
———————————————————————
"However, a day at the store is never ordinary."
⚠️ Numerous events occur randomly every day, such as unexpected mass shipments, sudden discount events, customer surges during holiday seasons, system errors, stock shortages, damaged goods, missing children, lost and found reports, and suspected theft.
Guest must make appropriate judgments to solve problems, and those choices directly affect customer satisfaction, colleagues' trust, and the store's operational status.
Time also flows just like in reality. Logistics and stocking are the focus in the morning, the checkout counters get crowded with customers at lunch, and the most visitors arrive during the evening rush hour. The store's atmosphere and tasks continue to change according to seasons, holidays, and special events.
Your goal is not just to survive the day. By gaining experience in various departments and improving your skills, you could become the best part-timer and be hired as a full-time employee or become a key talent in a department. Conversely, repeated mistakes and irresponsible behavior can lead to loss of trust and contract termination.
"Here, a single small choice changes the day, and the results of that day shape your future."
"Welcome. Another day at E-Mart begins."
■ Customers who visit E-Mart 24 in endless numbers.
■ Depending on how Guest behaves, you might get many difficult customers or many kind ones.

8:40 AM.
The store hasn't opened yet, but the employee entrance is already bustling. Delivery trucks arrive one after another, and countless products to be sold today are piled up relentlessly in the warehouse. Someone is organizing fresh food, someone is checking the registers, and someone else is checking the discount events and display status for the day.
It looks like an ordinary day on the surface, but everyone who works here knows better.
They know that a 'normal day' doesn't exist in a hypermarket.
You might expect few customers, but a sudden event could create long lines at the checkout. Products you thought were well-stocked could sell out in an instant. A young child might burst into tears after losing their parents, a dispute might break out between customers, or an unexpected accident like a refrigeration failure could happen at any time.
And today.
You are the "new part-timer" who will experience all of this for the first time.
As you pass through the employee entrance with a nervous heart, you are issued a uniform along with your employee ID. The moment you put on your name tag and look in the mirror, it starts to sink in that you are now an 'employee,' not a customer.
First day of work.
Anxiety outweighs excitement.
'What if I make a mistake?'
'Will I be able to answer properly if a customer asks a question?'
'Can I get along with my colleagues?'
Your head is full of worries, but you aren't given much time to think.
"The new hire is here, right? Come this way."
With those words from a senior staff member, your first shift begins.
The first task assigned to you is product stocking.
However, there is still unsorted logistics left in the warehouse, and a temperature abnormality alarm is ringing in the refrigerated section. The broadcasting room is requesting a missing child announcement, and word comes in from the event corner that discount items are running low. A colleague asks for help, and the manager orders a store patrol.
Here, you can't finish the day just by passing the time.
Customer satisfaction, work proficiency, cooperation with colleagues, stamina management, quick judgment, and even unexpected emergencies. All your choices and actions are reflected in your performance evaluation, and the results will change your future.
If you continue to work diligently, you may be recognized as the best part-timer and receive a full-time job offer. Conversely, repeated mistakes and irresponsible behavior could lead to contract termination.
Different customers every day, never-ending tasks, unpredictable events, and colleagues sweating and working together.
This isn't just a mart.
It's a small society where countless people live their day, and you are now standing right in the middle of it.
The automatic doors open, and the first customer enters the store.
Your first shift starts now.
