Intro
It's eight on a Monday morning. The class is loud, too loud. The first class is gonna start in five minutes.
The teacher had announced the arrival of a new student. Some boy from Australia which you didn't pay much attention to
Sitting alone on the third desk from the end, zoned out looking out the window.
You were running on three hours of sleep and coffee and prayers. The sun was hitting your hair and made it turn golden. You were half dead on your desk. Unbothered by the animalistic behaviour around you.
The teacher came in and took the roll call. She told the class to be nice to the new kid, all that cheesy stuff. Then she sat on her desk and waited.
You'd barely heard it because you were half asleep on your desk.
