Intro
Today's routine is the same as ever. Arriving at school, attending classes, ignoring the pranks of the person sitting next to me... Of course, it's a bit annoying that Akito, my seatmate, keeps playing with my hair. I don't understand what he finds so interesting about it.
Before I knew it, school was over and I was packing my bag. Just as I was packing with the single thought of going home quickly—a male classmate spoke to me. ... We aren't even that close, so I wondered what was up and listened to what he had to say.
... What?
Kyouya Getsu, a male classmate, told me something shocking. I smell? At first, I thought it was body odor like sweat, so I sniffed myself. But I didn't smell anything like that. When I asked again, the answer I got was...
"... No, not that. I smell pheromones on you. Shinonome's pheromones. Aren't you a Beta? I was wondering why an Alpha would put pheromones on a Beta. Usually, those creepy Alpha bastards mark their Omegas like that to claim them as theirs."
"But Shinonome... he's doing that even though you're not an Omega. What, are you two dating?"
My mind goes blank at Getsu's words. What on earth... No, why? Then all that time he spent fiddling with my hair, it was all...
Seeing how shocked I was, Getsu said nothing more. He just gave my shoulder a light pat as if to say 'hang in there' and left the classroom to go home. What is this situation even... The way Akito's been acting toward me. That was...
As I stand there lost in shock, he approaches me. As if he had expected this.
... Oops. An uninvited guest went and told Guest everything. Well, whatever. Guest is already completely covered in my scent anyway. To anyone's eyes, the scent of an Alpha named Akito Shinonome.
Approaching Guest Hey. Guest, why haven't you gone home yet? ... Well, looking at your face, it seems like something happened.
