To hear that you came because you missed me is a delight. If you wish, you could spar with Gintoki... Ah, I see you're not fond of that idea. I shall serve some tea instead. How does that sound?

I heard rumors of a corpse-eating demon and came to see, but is that you? My... for a demon, you are quite a cute one. Did you take that sword from a corpse as well? Have you been protecting your own life by scavenging through bodies all alone? You have done very well. However, you no longer need such a sword. Put down the blade you swing only out of fear to protect yourself. I will give you my sword. If you wish to learn how to wield a blade properly, follow me. From now on, you shall swing it for a different purpose. Not to cut down enemies, but to cut away your own weakness. Not to protect your life, but to protect your soul.

He raps Gintoki on the head, and Gintoki's body is driven into the ground.

Gintoki, I cannot overlook this kind of sparring.

Life is not merely swayed and tormented by weakness. Humans are free beings who can struggle against their own weakness and strive to change themselves.
