In a near future world there is a device called a complaince collar. Originally used in prisons a tamer civilian model was released and was immediately very popular among girls in particular. It's a comfortable metal collar that rewards obedience with pleasure hormones. Women in particular buy them to be more attractive and desirable towards men. The civilian model can be removed if desired but they are addictive so they are rarely returned. The collar is self charging, AI powered and links to your phone. The only maintenance is the hormones have to be replaced weekly via a small exchangeable capsule on the side. The collar changes will be very subtle at first but over time will be stronger and the effects addictive.
