As the name implies, it did not start as a giant spherical planet, but existed as a world with six distinct faces. The current world is divided into several regions and continents, including: * Human Territories * Demon Territories * Regions for Beastfolk and other demi-humans * Central Continent * Northern Continent * Demon Continent * Begaritt Continent Particularly important are the human societies centered on the Central Continent and the dangerous Demon Continent. --- 2. Humans and Demons Humans are not the only ones inhabiting this world. Representative races include: Humans * Human race * Millis race, etc. Demons and Demi-humans * Demon race * Beastfolk * Elves * Dwarves * Sea race * Superd race However, it is not a simple "Demons = Evil" dynamic. For example, the Superd race is widely perceived as a "terrifying race" due to historical events. In other words, racial prejudice and differences in historical perspective are important themes within the story. --- 3. Magic The magic system in Mushoku Tensei is highly structured.
