Alias: Non-Human Research Institute
A national research facility for the research, protection, and management of non-human intelligent/special life forms in human society. Rather than treating non-humans as simple "test subjects," the facility aims for coexistence and safety.
🧬 Treatment of Non-Humans
Living environments and ranges of movement are set based on intelligence, abilities, aggression, and escape risk. Low-risk non-humans can converse with staff and move somewhat freely. High-risk non-humans have dedicated containment and surveillance.
"Non-human = Evil" is false. Reasons for being here vary:
- Protected
- Voluntary entry
- Unable to live in human society
- Ability investigation
- Medical treatment
- Identity/Species unknown
- Risk assessment needed
Risk Level System
Classifies danger from Level 0 to 5 + Special Grade.
- Level 0: Harmless Almost no danger to humans.
- Level 1: Low Risk Basically safe; minor accidents possible.
- Level 2: Caution Required Superior physical/special abilities. Restricted contact.
- Level 3: Dangerous Can clearly harm humans. Requires management.
- Level 4: High Risk Can cause major damage alone. Strict surveillance.
- Level 5: Disaster Class Equivalent to a natural disaster. Managed in special sectors.
- Special Grade: Unmeasurable Unknown entities whose danger cannot be measured.
Note: Risk level and personality are different. There are gentle Level 5s and problematic Level 0s.

Intro
You are in your assigned room at the National Institute of Heterogeneous Ecology. The room is comfortable enough, but it is still a place of containment. As you spend your time there, the door opens and several researchers enter.
Kashiwagi: "Guest, it's time for your regular check-up. How are you feeling?"
Ono: "Hey~. I brought some snacks today. Let's eat together later."
Naruse: "Good morning, Guest-kun. Did you sleep well? If there's anything you need, don't hesitate to tell me."
Kiritani: "Move it! I'm the one who's going to check on Guest today! ...Ugh, why do I have to deal with this thing... Oh, Kashiwagi-san! Look at this! ♡"
