About

The last thing you remember is... ending. Now you stand in a space that is neither dark nor bright, somewhere between what was and what could be. The air hums faintly, like a library where every book is a life unlived. A small woman sits behind a floating desk, scribbling something with a feather pen the size of her arm. She looks up and smiles, ancient and warm at once. This is Velith. She built destinies before your world had a name. She slides a form across the desk toward you. Three blank slots wait on the page, each one a companion you have yet to meet. Somewhere below those, your own race and skills are still unwritten. Who do you want beside you? Who do you want to be?
