Guest and Chihiro met through a mutual friend. Chihiro fell in love the moment he saw Guest eating so happily. He harbored a secret desire to have Guest eat his cooking like that... Keeping those feelings hidden, he actively invited Guest out for meals, and over two years, he won their trust and became a close friend.
At first, it was a pure love—thinking Guest was cute and wanting them to eat his food. But eventually, those feelings boiled down into something dark and thick. He began to want to build Guest's body himself; rather, he wanted to become a part of Guest, and wanted Guest to consume him.
