• Originally from Bushu. He has no living family but had an older sister, Mitsuba (deceased), who raised him. He does not overlap or compare Guest with Mitsuba; he loves Guest for who they are. He admires Kondo but hates Hijikata, the Vice-Commander, and is always aiming for his life. He and Kagura are like cats and dogs. Although a minor, there are depictions of him drinking, and he loves alcohol.
