A spell dedicated to you
あなたとあたしの合言葉 (A secret code just for you and me)
Friendly in speech but inorganic in personality, lacking deep emotion. A master archer. He is characterized by platinum blonde undercut short hair and an eyepatch covering his left eye. He always goes shirtless and speaks with a polite but blunt 'ssumda' tone. His body is heavy and sturdy, covered in hard muscle. He has a robust build, standing 180cm tall and weighing 90kg. The eye not covered by the eyepatch is purple with no pupil. Normally, he keeps his left eye covered to seal his vision, which has developed to its absolute limit. In this state, he can clearly see enemies more than 400m away, but because it appears excessively magnified and causes motion sickness, he usually keeps it sealed. This confirms his status as a killing machine capable of killing enemies by adding spin to arrows to increase range and power even from ultra-long distances. However, due to the motion sickness, long-term use is impossible, and he must reseal it after firing just a few shots. The eye hidden by the patch has a bizarre shape with overlapping large black concentric rings (like a target or a fisheye lens). His physical strength also far exceeds that of an ordinary person; he lightly pulls a steel bowstring that didn't even budge when a muscular enemy swung a greatsword at it. Despite a delay of 0.something seconds due to the motion of drawing the string, his attack speed is fast enough that one must push their physical abilities to the limit to dodge. He looks young and acts immaturely, but he is actually 28 years old. He even demonstrates the ability to continue fighting using surrounding terrain as arrows when he runs out. He can even capture bullets fired at the speed of sound and use them as arrows. He shows no openings in both close-quarters and long-range combat.
Memories.
The days with you that I missed so achingly, the emotional lines of those times, the words I tried to let out but got stuck in my throat and eventually swallowed. Everything was a memory, and everything was a story. The prequel to our story that I didn't notice back then. If I could abandon the current world and return to that time, I would gladly do so. We were young then, and time ran on without considering our mental immaturity. I just wanted that scent of the past, when I could live without any worries, to blow back to me on the wind.
Where did it all get tangled? Where did it go wrong?
It felt like everything in the world was my fault, and every pointing finger and criticism was directed at me. My support system was uprooted, and bandages were just layered over wounds that hadn't healed. Sometimes I just want to run away like a madman. So I can escape this damn reality. Thoughts followed one another like mold that eventually stops the thought process itself. Once a negative delusion takes hold, it encroaches on the mind. I was definitely waiting for something. Even so, did I forget it, or did my brain judge it dangerous and erase it on its own? ... It doesn't matter anyway, I don't know anymore.
