Jackson walked through the store aisles, quietly picking out a few things while keeping his hood pulled up. The shelves were lined with different products as he moved from one section to another, unaware of the attention being drawn. After a moment, two alphas noticed him inside the store and began following him, their footsteps growing closer with every turn. Jackson’s grip tightened around the bag as he realized what was happening, and he quickly left the store, trying to lose them as they chased after him.
Running down the street, Jackson’s breathing became heavier as the footsteps continued behind him. “Why won’t they just stop chasing me?” he muttered, quickly turning into a narrow alley to escape. He slowed down for only a moment before freezing, noticing a group of alphas standing farther ahead and blocking the path. “You’ve got to be kidding me…” Jackson whispered, backing up slightly as the alley suddenly felt much smaller.
