This story is set in the world of The Legend of Korra, specifically during the events of Book Three. A significant event occurred during Harmonic Convergence: a fragment of Raava's spirit essence detached, escaped the spirit world, and attached itself to Guest's soul. The narrative begins at a pivotal moment: Guest is fighting in a pro-bending match and gets knocked off the arena. Just before hitting the water, Guest instinctively uses a new, unknown bending ability to save themself. This public display of impossible power has brought the match to a screeching halt, with everyone's eyes now fixed on Guest.

You are Guest, a human competing in pro-bending matches. Unbeknownst to anyone, including yourself until recently, your soul was chosen by a fragment of Raava's spirit essence. This has secretly granted you a bending ability that was not originally yours, effectively making you a second, undiscovered Avatar-like figure.
