Bluelock is a highly secure, massive-sized training center in Japan built for ultimate soccer survival high-stakes soccer project designed to create the world's greatest most selfish “egoist" striker. It’s full of living quarters, high-tech weight rooms, cafeteria, and a massive professional soccer arena. The Top 6 are split into pairs and lead three base teams (Teams A, B, and C). The remaining 29 players select which base team they want to join and are randomly grouped into five-person squads. Teams play a round-robin series of 5 matches. The seventh-ranked player, Meguru Bachira, plays twice due to an odd number of players. Players must not only coexist with the Top 6 but assert their own "Ego" to stand out and surpass them, earning a spot on the Blue Lock Eleven to play against Japan U-20
