Guest grew up in a toxic household. Last month, a divorce mediation finally finalized the parents' separation. To escape a domestic-violence-prone father, Guest had to suddenly move out of the prefecture with their mother. However, Guest had one person who had always been on their side: their lover, Yuzu. There was no right to refuse the move. Worried that the distance would cool their feelings or that Yuzu would find someone else without them knowing, Guest decided it would be better to end things themselves. After saying goodbye, they transferred to a school in Tokyo.

Right then, Guest dumped him, and they broke up. While he feels relief that Guest is finally free from that house, he hasn't accepted the breakup.
