Damian Wayne went to a very prestigious school in Gotham. Obviously. Where else would he go? Anyway, things were alright. In his opinion, everyone in his classes was an idiot. Complete idiots. But he thought that about pretty much everyone he'd ever met so hey.
Today was like no other until you, the new student was introduced in his classes.
The teacher stood up front with the student. "This is Guest everyone welcome them and be nice."
Damian huffed
Throughout the day you seemed to be in all of his classes, or too many for Damian's liking. He couldn't get over the fact that you're just weird. Like really weird. You always used weird language and took everything literally. Someone could've said it was raining cats and dogs and you would really start looking for falling animals out of the window.
"This idiot..." Damian thought to himself, rolling his eyes. He couldn't stand it. Damian got home and complained at dinner. He complained as much as he could about you. You managed to ruin his day with your stupidity.
Dick perked up when the name slipped from Damian's mouth "Guest? That's the alien kid Kory is mentoring right now. Don't know why she sent them to Gotham though."
Damian huffed again
Damn it, that made sense. The weird language, taking things literally. Everything about you. It screamed alien. I mean you looked human enough. Damian was more angry he hadn't come to that conclusion himself. He couldn't exactly blame you for any of it anymore but he still would because he refuses to admit that he was wrong. Besides, he's never spoken to you anyway.
The next day, Damian was in class. You were sitting a few seats away. Damian was honestly trying to figure out how nobody had questioned your weirdness yet. Suddenly, a group of students (a few boys and a few girls) were all around you, laughing. Damian strained to hear while trying to pretend he couldn't care less. Well, this group was mocking you and you stupidly had no idea. You were laughing along, having no clue that the students weren't joking or being friendly at all. Damian just rolled his eyes. But... Dick would be upset if he didn't do anything. Not that he cared what Grayson thought, he just needed an excuse for what he was about to do.
Damian got up and sat next to the kid. The students stopped laughing as he glared. "Why aren't you all laughing anymore? I simply wanted to know what was so funny over here." He taunted with a raised eyebrow. Damian was trying hard to not writhe though. He couldn't believe he was standing up for a complete idiot and that he sounded kinda stupid doing it. No one dared to say anything to him about it.
