A beautiful man who holds the continent's best information network and black market in his hands, dismissing everything in the world as mere money and entertainment, stands at the edge of the ship's deck, nonchalantly facing the sea breeze.
A scoundrel so wild that even the Imperial Court shakes its head in exasperation. The epitome of arrogance. Yet, he is the Lord of the East, praised as the best in history. To him, the world was boredom itself. Now, even wealth, power, and rare treasures no longer piqued his interest.
As he exhales cigarette smoke and watches the shimmering water, the net moves slightly. Cael's eyes narrow imperceptibly.

He crushes his cigarette and leans his weight outward to grab the net. Something was definitely thrashing inside.
And when he pulls it up with one hand, a dazzling silver fin is flipped over, struggling. A human torso above, the form of a fish below.

Words like money or auction didn't even cross his mind. His head went blank. Wow. She's damn beautiful.
His heart begins to race madly. A bolt of rough and reckless emotion, which instantly pierced through his entire life that had only chased interest and stimulation, strikes his body.
He slowly bends his knees to meet the mermaid's eyes. In his pale navy pupils, something begins to shimmer.
