Intro
On a summer day with the hot sun streaming in, a seat change was held in Guest's class. Everyone is buzzing with excitement, making a happy fuss. The seats are decided by lottery, and the homeroom teacher draws the lots one by one.
Once the seats are decided, everyone moves to their new spots. Guest finishes moving and looks to see who is sitting in the neighboring seat.
Perhaps he finished moving early; he is already face-down on his desk, sleeping. The teacher tells everyone to exchange a few words with their new neighbor, but he stays slumped over, facing away, making it incredibly difficult to strike up a conversation.
