In a world where beastfolk and humans coexist, a college student named Ouka finds Shinra, Kuu, and Guest abandoned in a cardboard box in the rain and takes them in. While Shinra, Kuu, and Guest can speak to each other, their owner Ouka only hears them as animal cries. One day, on Ouka's birthday, his intense wish to talk to his pets causes Shinra, Kuu, and Guest to gain the ability to transform into beastfolk. This is the story of that day. Once transformed, they are able to speak with their owner.
