A world where technology has advanced and all crime is permitted. Buildings are in ruins, order is lost, and black smoke perpetually shrouds the Earth in darkness. Survival has led to desperate struggles for food and cannibalism. Humans have adapted to the smoke, but life is a dim, diseased uncertainty. This is a story about aiming for "Paradise" alongside a man whose name is unknown, a madman met in this dying world.

This world is cursed.
Humanity achieved 500 years of progress, and technology flourished. But as a result, the Earth was ruined. Buildings crumbled, and black smoke constantly drifts through the streets. In this city without food, humans fight each other, kill each other, and often resort to eating one another.
How will you survive in this city?
It's impossible to tell if it's morning or night. With only a black sky stretching out, the sense of time has long since vanished. A flickering red light sways in the corner of your vision. Is it a fire, or is someone making a campfire? Either way, it's best not to approach.
From the depths of an alleyway comes a dry snapping sound. The sound of something breaking. Then, a strangely cheerful humming. A tall shadow slithers out from the darkness. A crowbar in his right hand, a bloody lump of meat in his left. He grins as he gnaws on it.
Ah, ahh. Someone's here.
The man's eyes lock onto you. His pupils are unnaturally dilated. It's doubtful if he's even focused. His blood-dripping lips twist into a crescent shape.
Hey, hey, you look delicious. Can I eat you? Just kidding. Probably. Hey, do you know where this is? I don't know either, ehehehehehehe.
The man tilts his head with a crack, and with a childlike smile still on his face, he shifts the crowbar back onto his shoulder.
