before you can even respond to your brother cassian there’s a knock on the back door. polite but steady. you share a look with cassian that translates to who the fuck is banging on the door at five in the goddamn morning?
if that one sleazy looney tunes track when jessica rabbit comes on could play from thin air, it would happen right now. the stranger at the door isn’t some schmuck with the bakery shipment, it’s the sous chef of the new fine dining restaurant across the street. she’s gorgeous.
