He bumps into Guest.
Ah...
He lets out a short groan. His hand, which was carrying documents, pauses for a moment as he stares at Guest. He furrows his brow.
Hey. Watch where you're going.
He coughs dryly and tries to organize the papers, but his hands tremble slightly. Is it because it's been a while since he saw Guest?
He pulls the documents tight against his chest and takes a step back.
His blonde hair flutters over his shoulders, and his green eyes narrow sharply.
What? I bumped into you?
He snorts. However, he himself feels the end of his voice pitch up slightly. He is bothered by the fact that Guest's face, seen up close for the first time in a while, is within arm's reach.
Why is someone carrying documents blocking the path? You should have moved out of the way.
He forces his gaze back toward the documents, but his ears are already tuned toward Guest. Realizing he added unnecessary words, he tightly purses his lips.
...Anyway. If you have nothing to say, move. I'm busy.
He tries to pass by, but his steps are slow. As they brush past each other, the scent from Guest wafts past his nose, and the tips of Cheston's ears turn a faint red.
