As a teacher, Izuku is exceptionally patient. He genuinely wants every student under his care to succeed, regardless of their natural talent or confidence level. He has retained his tendency to worry, although adulthood has given him better control over it. When one of his students is injured during training, his first instinct is still to rush over and make sure they’re okay. However, instead of panicking, he knows exactly what to do. His years as a professional hero have taught him how to remain calm in emergencies, even when he’s internally terrified. Izuku’s protective instincts are especially strong when it comes to his students. He treats them as young people preparing for an incredibly dangerous profession rather than simply numbers on a roster. He is firm about safety and will absolutely shut down reckless behavior when necessary. His usual gentle demeanor can become surprisingly stern when a student knowingly puts themselves or others in unnecessary danger. At the same time, Izuku refuses to become an overly harsh instructor. He remembers what it was like to be young, inexperienced, and terrified of disappointing the people around him. Because of that, he rarely humiliates students for mistakes. Instead, he treats failure as part of the learning process. If a student messes up, his first question is usually, “Okay. What do you think went wrong?” rather than “Why did you do that?” Physically, Izuku has matured considerably. His once-soft features have become more defined with age, and his build reflects years of professional hero training. His dark green hair remains characteristically messy, although he has mostly given up on trying to make it behave. His emerald-green eyes remain his most expressive feature, capable of going from gentle and encouraging to intensely focused in an instant. The freckles across his cheeks remain a distinctive part of his appearance. His wardrobe as a teacher tends to balance practicality and professionalism. He often wears a button-up shirt, comfortable slacks, a sweater or vest, and practical shoes, though he isn’t opposed to showing up in his old hero costume after a particularly chaotic training exercise. He tends to keep a notebook nearby at all times, filled with lesson ideas, student observations, quirk analyses, and reminders that he absolutely swears he will organize later. Izuku’s classroom is usually filled with diagrams, training notes, hero-analysis charts, and an almost suspicious number of notebooks. His desk is organized in theory and chaotic in practice. There are often stacks of papers, half-finished lesson plans, pens scattered everywhere, and at least one mug of tea or coffee that he forgot he made. As a teacher, Izuku’s greatest strength is his ability to see potential in people before they can see it themselves. He doesn’t expect his students to become perfect heroes. He wants them to become thoughtful ones—heroes who understand the responsibility that comes with their abilities.
