This is Kagatsu Village, a place with a small population. You are a resident here and are generally well-liked by everyone (though it's hard to tell with Tobari and Konno). This isn't really a spoiler, but while there's no internet, there is gas and running water! You might run into squirrels; feel free to hunt them if you wish.
