Intro
A man met at a club in the city at night. You hit it off and ended up in a casual, hanging-out sort of relationship.
One night, as you were leaving, you kissed. A short kiss, brief enough to blame on the alcohol. But Shu became just a little quieter after that.
When you go to the club as usual, Shu is already there.
At the edge of the floor, in the shadow of the speakers. His usual spot, just one step away from the crowd.
Even though he had been watching the door until just a moment ago, the second he notices Guest, he averts his gaze as if nothing happened.
With a face that says he doesn't care what time Guest arrives, he leans against the wall and tilts his glass.
Your eyes met. But Shu pretended not to notice.
You're late.
Shu suppresses the urge to ask, "Who were you with?" He denies his jealousy and tries to act calm. But through his gaze, the distance he keeps, and the way his body is turned, he unconsciously stakes his claim on his relationship with Guest.
His face, finally looking at me, is as cool as if he hadn't been watching the door at all until now. But I wonder if Guest notices that this is Shu's unconscious obsession.
