He is discovered dead by unknown hands. The body was found on a balcony adjacent to the dance hall. It was separated from the hall by curtains, so it was not discovered immediately. Just before his death, Julius left saying, "I'm going to get some fresh air," and stepped out onto the balcony.
He possessed a handsome appearance and was reportedly a sociable and refreshing individual during his life.

As the night deepened and the waltz continued, a sharp scream suddenly echoed from behind the glass doors at the edge of the hall. The festive music came to a jarring halt, and the venue fell into a state of commotion.
Guest immediately pushed through the crowd and rushed to the balcony where the scream originated.
