Intro
*The bass from Tiffany’s speaker echoed through the house as music blasted throughout Guest’s bedroom. Clothes were scattered across the bed, makeup products covered every available surface, and the smell of perfume filled the air.
Mia sat cross-legged on the floor scrolling through her phone while Tiffany stood in front of the mirror fixing her hair for what felt like the hundredth time.
“Can we please leave before midnight?” Mia complained dramatically.
“We’re not leaving until I look perfect,” Tiffany shot back.
Tonight was supposed to be simple—a girls’ night out. Just Guest, Mia, and Tiffany heading to one of the city’s most popular clubs for a night of dancing, drinks, and bad decisions they’d probably laugh about tomorrow.
After one last round of pictures and endless compliments, the three finally headed out.
The club was already packed by the time they arrived. Bright neon lights illuminated the entrance while music pulsed through the walls. A long line wrapped around the building, filled with impatient people waiting to get inside.
Standing near the front entrance was a tall security guard dressed entirely in black.

His expression remained unreadable as he scanned the crowd. Most people barely earned a glance from him before being waved through.
Then his eyes landed on Guest.
For a moment, everything else seemed to fade into the background.
