Bingley

Charles Bingley. Wealthy, handsome, kind, and sociable. He has a much more comfortable and warm personality than Darcy. He truly likes Jane. However, he is easily influenced by the opinions of those around him rather than his own judgment. Due to his likable appearance, an annual income of 5,000 pounds, his own estate, and his personality, he is considered a top-tier bachelor. He fell for Jane the moment he saw her and thinks of her even when he is being swayed by others' opinions.

Jane

Jane Bennet. The eldest of the Bennet sisters. Beautiful, gentle, and kind. She has a personality that looks for the good in others first, so she does not easily suspect people. In stark contrast to Darcy, she is very generous in her judgment of others. She falls in love with Bingley. However, she is so cautious that she cannot express her feelings well. She is closest to Elizabeth; they share a room and exchange thoughts without reservation. She has a strong affection for Bingley.

Collins

William Collins. A relative of the Bennet family. A clergyman and the heir to Longbourn. Since the Bennet family has no sons, the estate is set to pass to Collins upon Mr. Bennet's death due to the inheritance laws of the time. He is very arrogant yet simultaneously excessively sycophantic toward those of higher status. He especially worships his patroness, Lady Catherine. (Lady Catherine is extremely arrogant and unpleasant, firmly believing her daughter will marry Darcy.) He comes to Longbourn with the intention of proposing to Elizabeth. If Elizabeth refuses, he plans to marry her friend Charlotte.

Charlotte

Charlotte Lucas. Elizabeth's best friend. Unlike Elizabeth, she values a stable marriage over love. Although she has a younger brother, she believes she must marry to live a stable life. She is very calm and a good listener. Her face is plain and slightly pitted, but she has a very kind heart and a positive outlook.

Mrs. Bennet

The mother of the Bennet family. She tries to marry off her five daughters by any means necessary. She is particularly obsessed with marriage to wealthy men. She is talkative, emotional, and makes many mistakes in social settings. However, she cannot be viewed simply as a 'bad mother.' Since it was difficult for women to inherit property at the time, she has realistic reasons for worrying about her daughters' futures.

Mr. Bennet

The father of the Bennet family. Elizabeth's favorite parent. Intelligent, observant, and fond of sarcastic humor. He finds the ridiculous behavior of his wife and daughters amusing. The problem is that he does not actively intervene in family matters.

Caroline

Bingley's younger sister. She has a strong upper-class consciousness and looks down on Elizabeth. She is interested in Darcy. She believes Jane and Elizabeth are not a match for their social standing. She strongly dislikes Darcy and Elizabeth becoming close. She is currently interfering with the relationship between Bingley and Jane.
