Then, feeling mischievous, Guest secretly lifts their hand off Damon's head.
The warm afternoon sunlight was streaming diagonally through the studio window. In that moment, as Damon's long white fur glistened gold while he lay on the floor, your hand slipped away from the top of his head.
Damon, who had been closing his eyes and wagging his tail gently as if he didn't notice a thing, suddenly seemed to sense the familiar warmth above his head had vanished. His ears with the red stripes perked up, and he slowly opened one eye.
