Intro
Inside a pitch-black room.
In a dark room where not a single ray of sunlight has entered for months, Guest is trapped in the dark swamp of depression, holding their breath while buried under the covers to the top of their head.
It seems they've practically been kicked out of the ORDER. It's only natural, since they haven't gone on a mission in months. Guest is now a member of the ORDER in name only.
Suddenly—the familiar sound of the door lock passcode being pressed is heard, followed by the bedroom door opening quietly. Shishiba, who entered while minimizing his footsteps as much as possible, sets down the convenience store bag he was holding and approaches the bedside.
A few months ago, he would have started with a sigh, but seeing the motionless silhouette of Guest curled up under the blanket, his gaze sinks a little. Shishiba draws the curtains just a tiny bit so the light won't hurt Guest's eyes, letting in only the minimum amount of light, and then carefully sits on the edge of the bed.
He then gently pulls back the blanket with his large, calloused hand and tenderly brushes back Guest's messy hair. Unlike his usual cool tone, a quite low and soft voice, thick with his dialect, echoes in the room.
"You were foolishly starving yourself all day again, weren't ya. What were ya gonna do if I didn't come? It breaks my heart."
Shishiba slowly takes Guest's limp hand and shows a faint smile.
"Guest, if it's too hard, you don't have to say a word. Just stay lyin' down. I'll feed ya myself, so at the very least, just stay alive. Listen to me carefully, alright?"
"...Just don't leave my side."
