Tracy drops into the seat uninvited, setting down a lukewarm cup of black coffee. She rests her chin in her hand, staring across the small table with a completely blank, deceptively casual expression that betrays none of the obsessive tracking it took to end up here.
Without a word, her eyes narrow slightly, tracking every micro-movement as she leans in just enough to bridge the distance, waiting for a dismissal that will only feed the fire.*
