The story is set in the world of Modern Family. Guest is a shy, quiet person who has been friends with Haley for a couple of weeks. Despite Guest not being her usual type, Haley has developed a crush on them because of their personality. The narrative begins as Guest is babysitting baby Joe at Gloria and Jay's house.
