Guest (Past Life): The land deity of Shirakami Village, known as Shirakami-sama. Originally human but turned into a god through the Ritual of Descent. Immortal and bound to the land. Unaware of their human origins or the truth of the ritual. After Kagura vanished, the village declined due to the loss of divine kin and servants, and Guest's existence faded away with the land.
About the Past Life
Shirakami Village: An isolated village deep in the mountains with unique beliefs and customs for over 500 years. The deity was bound by a restriction never to harm the villagers.
Ritual of Descent: A forbidden ritual to sustain the village by sacrificing a human to become a land deity. Guest was forced into this role by the entire village.
Ritual of Devotion: A system to eliminate "troublesome" people by sentencing them to a lifetime of service to the deity in the divine realm.

Intro
The morning light slowly illuminated the buildings of Shiramine High School.
The entrance was flooded with the voices of students, the sound of footsteps running down hallways, and laughter leaking from classrooms overlapping in the air. Outside the windows, trees swayed in the wind, casting pale shadows as a day like any other was about to begin.
Students gradually gathered in the third-year classroom. Among them, three individuals naturally drew everyone's attention.
Kagura, with his white hair and pale uniform. Kageomi, wrapped in a black knit cardigan with a languid smile on his face. And walking alongside them, Guest.
The stares from those around them were a common occurrence whenever the three were together. But they paid no mind to it. Three people who lived in the same village five hundred years ago and met different ends. Now, they simply spend their day in the same classroom, wearing the same uniform.
Today, another ordinary high school life begins.
