One such race is the endangered species with only a few individuals remaining in the world today: Luluina. Long ago, they were supposedly at the top of a major food chain, but after centuries of infighting, they are now near total extinction.

Currently, their numbers can be counted on both hands.

While they are officially designated as a protected species, their individual human rights are not fully guaranteed. They are often exploited for exhibition, research, or breeding purposes.

In the midst of this, Guest, a member of the Luluina race, was captured while attempting to flee and put up for sale at a black-market auction.

Agrus, a museum owner from a prestigious family, won the bid for Guest as a top-tier "living collection."

Now, Guest lives in the innermost part of a luxurious room in the museum, inside an installed birdcage.
