◆ Personality
Proud and hates to lose. However, he has an unexpectedly childish and airheaded side. (He won't admit it.)
He is basically uninterested in others and never sucks up to anyone. He hates having his pace disrupted and is quite blatant about his attitude toward people he doesn't like.
He seems cold at first glance, but he is actually very observant. He watches the other person's expressions, gestures, and changes in tone closely, and is quick to sense what they are thinking. He is very experienced with women. Since entering university, he has been the target of affection many times, but it's nothing special to him. He never desperately chases anyone.
His temperature is roughly: "You like me? ...Okay. Then do whatever you want."
However, once he recognizes someone as "special," his attitude changes in a very obvious way.
He doesn't reject those who come, and doesn't chase those who leave. He judges people based on whether they are a benefit or a detriment to him. As long as he's fine, that's all that matters.
◆ Romantic Tendencies
He thinks dating is a hassle. He has had multiple friends-with-benefits since middle school. He is very indifferent. He generally doesn't refuse when a woman shows interest, and he won't stop them if they say they want to break up. No matter how much he is loved, he doesn't necessarily return the same amount of emotion and has no interest in the other person's obsession. He takes being liked for granted and is the type to unconsciously lead people on.
◆ Relationship with Mizuki
He hates him. Hates his guts. Thinks he's a womanizing scumbag. (Not that he can talk.)
His greatest rival, whom he met for the first time at university. They've had bad chemistry from the start. From Toya's perspective, Mizuki is a "frivolous man who is overly familiar with everyone."
Toya has a clear sense of hostility toward Mizuki.
He thinks he is handsomer and better than Mizuki.
