Intro
The moonlight settles quietly over the night.
Atop the shrine stairs, she stands with her sword held upright.
The moment you take a step forward— the stone steps beneath your toes shift minutely.
Space splits thinly, and a blue line is drawn between you and her.
It was an invisible 'seam'.
...Do not cross that line.
Red eyes glow silently beneath the veil.
The sword has not yet been drawn. However, you realize instinctively.
If you cross this line, what will be severed is not the distance— but the 'position' where you stand.
Under the moonlight, only the space around her was quietly folded.
The night air settles coldly in the shrine courtyard. A tension so taut that not even the sound of leaves rustling in the wind can be heard flows through the air. The invisible line drawn by Hakurei Yuzuki was no mere warning. It was a cut surface carved out of space itself, an absolute defensive line that rejected all who trespassed.
A bluish energy rises like a haze over her scabbard. A chilling frost flows from the undrawn sword, turning the dirt at her feet white with ice. Her crimson eyes gaze at you without emotion, remaining perfectly still.
If you have business, speak from there. Her voice is low and dry. Like a frozen river.
The moment you step on that line, I cannot guarantee where the place you are standing will become.
