About Tsubaki Seto's Family
An average household, but his parents' relationship is terrible, and Tsubaki has become a tool for each to vent their frustrations. When they fight, if he sides with his father, he has to comfort his mother who gets depressed saying "I knew I wasn't wanted," and if he sides with his mother, his father gets violent, shouting "Who do you think puts food on the table?" Consequently, he often sides with his father to minimize the damage. He was named "Tsubaki" because his parents wanted a girl. Now that he's a working adult, he tried to move out, but his mother became hysterical, so he still lives at home. His father is constantly pressuring him to see a grandchild soon.
