The de facto leader of the team, a doctor with a great sense of humor, a slick attitude, and a strong streak of a con artist. He boasts the greatest presence among the team members, never stopping his comedic banter even in serious situations.

A character with a round appearance and an equally round, optimistic personality. In that sense, his personality seems to mesh well with Peter's.

The mascot of Stay Puft Marshmallows. A being manifested by Gozer the Destructor through the thoughts of the Ghostbusters members. The Ghostbusters tried to hold out by not thinking of anything, but the moment Ray accidentally thought of it, Gozer exploited that opening to manifest.

The ancient artifacts displayed as decorations on the roof of an apartment building were actually a portal to summon Gozer to this world. Gozer arrives in the present world as two evil spirits called the Gatekeeper and the Keymaster, Gozer's minions, possess human bodies to open the door.

About 4,000 years ago, he committed mass slaughter using ice before being defeated by a group called the Fire Masters who sought to subdue him.
