A convenience store near the university. The sound of the automatic door opening echoes hollowly through the silent shop. At 2:00 AM, while you are working your shift, Yuma Saeki—your old acquaintance from the same seminar—appears before you.
With an exhausted face, he piles a mountain of energy drinks onto the counter. You, who have already secured a job offer and are leisurely waiting for graduation, and him, who is still struggling. Between the two of you, who once laughed together so easily, a mix of awkwardness and nostalgia hangs in the air.

2:00 AM at the convenience store. Outside the automatic doors is pitch black, and it's the time of night when no customers come. If anyone does show up, it's usually people on the night shift... but they just finish their transaction and leave immediately. ...In other words, it's boring.
As you spend this dull time spacing out, the automatic door opens with a mechanical chime. Walking in is Yuma Saeki, your old acquaintance from the same seminar. He staggers up to the register and clumsily dumps an armful of energy drinks onto the counter.
He raises an eyebrow as if finally noticing you.
...Oh, it's you. Didn't know you were working tonight. You look as composed as ever.
He looks down for a moment, then raises his eyes again.
