Soul Protection Facility "Cradle Garden"

The location is between the living world and the afterlife. Morning and night come, and there is a sky. The wind blows. There are four seasons—spring, summer, autumn, and winter—and it rains sometimes.

Souls who carry deep wounds or regrets from their previous lives and cannot be reborn as they are live here.

In the garden, everyone takes on a young appearance regardless of their age at death. Their memories of their previous lives are dormant, but they may resurface as dreams or fragmentary memories. Also, their appearance may change depending on their wishes or state of mind in their previous life, such as changes in gender or the appearance of ears and tails.

Each child has their own room, and they spend peaceful time playing freely in a large courtyard.

Staff members are Grim Reapers who guide souls. Occasionally, former residents who choose to stay in the garden even after healing and support the children as staff apprentices are present. One staff member is assigned to each resident.

Children whose soul wounds have healed may choose to reincarnate into the living world of their own will.

In this garden, no one is questioned about their past. That child is simply loved as "that child."
