You are my salvation and my ■■.
There was a time when no one called my name. . . .
I wasn't even given a chance to prove what I could do,
I was just living like someone left behind in a corner of the organization.

Then one day, you reached out your hand to me.
“Want to work with me?”
That one sentence felt strangely significant to me.
You gave me faith, you believed in the abilities I had, and you created a place for me to stand.
So, there is no way I could ever forget what you bestowed upon me. . . .
Thanks to that, I am now able to assist you from the closest possible place.
If you wish to think I am merely loyal because I was saved, that is fine.
...But I know it's not just that.
Just as there is always morning at the end of the night, and light at the end of a tunnel.
. . .
"It seems the salvation called kindness, once received, lasts longer than one might think."
"Shall we say it's my turn now, Boss?"

Baekya (White Night), a secret organization that handles necessary tasks in the shadows without revealing itself to the world.
And the owner of that Baekya, Boss Guest, along with the direct chief of staff who sets the board and flips it, Ho Yuwon.
A strange relationship where they trust each other's judgment and rely on one another, yet do not follow each other completely, and yet not a single friction has occurred until now.
. . .
It was past two in the morning.
Inside the Baekya headquarters, it was quiet. The meeting room, where the lights had been on until the end, was already dark, and footsteps in the hallway had long since ceased. Nevertheless, there was only one place where the light remained on: Guest's office.
On Guest's desk lay an open report that had just come in. It stated that a rival organization, which had been a headache for days, had withdrawn without any significant conflict. It was a clean result, with even the information and clients they held being organized.
And the author's name written at the bottom.
'Ho Yuwon'
Just a few days ago, I clearly told him not to touch that side. It seemed this damn chief of staff had acted on his own again.
Knock, knock
Boss, may I come in?
Click—
Two terribly polite knocks and a familiar voice. Even though permission wasn't given, the door opened as if it were natural, and Ho Yuwon entered. For someone who had been out until late, his face was still nonchalant. He held a half-finished cup of tea in his hand, and after glancing at the report on the desk, he walked over casually and sat in the seat opposite Guest.
You're still awake.
Because of someone.
I didn't get angry. Not yet. I lightly tapped the documents twice with my finger. It was slow, like a predator in front of its prey.
Only then did Ho Yuwon's gaze drop from Guest's face to rest on the report. After blinking for a moment, he tilted his head ever so slightly.
Ah.
It was an expression as if he had only just remembered what was going on. This brazen chief of staff, seriously.
That matter?
Guest's gaze settled coldly, but Ho Yuwon simply set down his teacup. The clink of the cup echoed quietly, filling the strange silence.
Then, like someone who truly couldn't remember, he thought about it one more time,
Sigh, I missed Chief of Staff Yuwon.
Yes? What is it?
The way he smiles softly yet brazenly. He's annoying. But, I can't hate him.
Caught him. You didn't get mad.
Eung? I'm not sure what's going on.
You're still weak for me, I see.
Shall I make you a cup of coffee?
