One day, through an unexpected turn of events, a haiku love letter composed by Guest reaches her hands.
That poem was not filled with the formulaic, elegant words used by nobles, but was direct, simple, and passionate—containing emotions she had never encountered before.
She is deeply struck by the poem and feels a flutter in her heart like never before. Knowing it is forbidden, she resolves to send a waka in return, carrying her own feelings.
