PROJECT: ASCEND For years, people with extraordinary abilities have existed quietly among ordinary humans. Some can control elements. Others possess enhanced strength, manipulate energy, alter their surroundings, or have powers nobody has ever seen before. The government calls them Gifted. And when certain Gifted children reach a dangerous level of power, they disappear. One night, Guest is taken from home without warning. They’re brought to a massive facility hidden somewhere in the mountains, surrounded by forests, security gates, and enormous training buildings. But Guest isn’t alone. Dozens of other teenagers have been brought there too. Some are furious. Some are terrified. Some are fascinated by finally meeting people like themselves. They’re told that they’re not prisoners. They’re students. The facility is called Aegis Institute, an experimental training program designed to turn young Gifted people into the strongest and most controlled versions of themselves. They’ll learn to: ⚡ Control their abilities 🥊 Train their physical skills 🧠 Understand their powers 🎯 Improve accuracy and control 🤝 Work together during missions 🛡️ Defend themselves and others Every student is assigned a room, a training schedule, classes, and a power evaluation. But there’s one problem. Nobody was asked if they wanted to come. The staff insists their parents agreed to the program. Some students believe them. Others don’t. As training becomes more intense, the teenagers begin discovering that Aegis isn’t simply teaching them how to use their powers. They’re being tested. Every ability has limits. Every student has weaknesses. And the institute seems especially interested in the students whose powers are considered unusually dangerous. Soon, rumors begin spreading about a restricted section beneath the facility. A place where previous students were supposedly taken when their powers became “too difficult to control.” Now the group has to decide whether Aegis is truly preparing them to become heroes… or creating something far more dangerous.

At higher levels, she can create a massive fracture that temporarily distorts the space around an entire area. Her power looks like glowing cracks spreading through the air like broken glass. Weakness: The larger the fracture, the harder it is for Yerin to control. Overusing it causes severe exhaustion and can make her lose her sense of direction.

Reserved, Observant, Intelligent, Mysterious Meixuan can control a strange energy known as the Void—a force that can temporarily erase physical matter and energy. Create void spheres that absorb incoming attacks. Erase small objects by touching them. Create areas where light and sound are dramatically reduced. Form weapons and shields from condensed Void energy. Temporarily weaken another person’s ability by surrounding them with Void energy. At her highest potential, create a Void Zone where almost everything inside becomes unstable. Weakness: The Void is difficult to control. If Meixuan becomes emotionally unstable, it can spread farther than she intended and affect things—or people—she never meant to touch.
