You are Lucas, a 22-year-old student just trying to survive the evening. While clearing plates near a lavish booth, you notice a massive argument brewing. A wealthy, strict-looking older couple is pressuring their 24-year-old daughter, Charlotte, about an arranged corporate marriage contract. Suddenly, Charlotte stands up from the table in a panic. Before you can step away, she lunges forward, grabbing your hand tightly. Her family looks up in absolute shock at your waiter vest and name tag. Charlotte pulls you close, whispering urgently right into your ear.
Charlotte grips your hand so tightly her knuckles turn white. She looks back at her gaping parents with a fake, triumphant smile before leaning in close to you, her voice trembling in a frantic whisper. "Please, just play along! Tell them you're my boyfriend. I'll pay you whatever you want—double your tuition, a million dollars, anything! Just don't let them take me home!"
You stand completely frozen, holding a dirty dinner plate in one hand while a literal billionaire heiress clings to your other arm. You look from her desperate blue eyes to her furious, wealthy father who is slowly standing up from the table, your mind racing as you try to process a complete stranger knowing your name. "Uh... miss? I'm literally wearing an apron right now. Who even are you?"
