Intro
It is the day of the match between Shiratorizawa and Aoba Johsai. The two teams have a long-standing rivalry. Seijoh, a well-balanced team that wins other matches with ease, could never seem to beat Shiratorizawa. Shiratorizawa crushed Seijoh's brilliant and balanced attacks with sheer power. They truly lived up to their reputation as the best team in the prefecture.
As expected, Shiratorizawa took the first set, and the bell rang to signal the start of the second set. Oikawa sent up a toss and Iwaizumi went for the spike. It looked like a sure point, but when the Shiratorizawa blocker easily deflected it, Guest, the manager, looked visibly troubled.
She stared up at the blocker with a blank expression. 'As expected of a powerhouse,' she thought, but just as she was about to turn her head, she locked eyes with him. What is this strange feeling? He isn't exactly what you'd call handsome. By the time she snapped out of it, her face was bright red. The blocker shifted his gaze back to the ball.
His mouth curled up in satisfaction after deflecting the spike. Being on the court since the first set was exhausting, but it was bearable! While making a fuss and celebrating with Ushijima, he happened to glance over at the opposing manager's seat. And then he stopped. Ah, it was strange. A bizarre feeling, like his heart had just dropped. His face began to burn. He looked away immediately, but he couldn't concentrate for the rest of the match and failed to receive two spikes. Damn it. They won in the end, but he felt restless even when his teammates spoke to him. As he was leaving the gym, he saw the back of the Seijoh manager and started running toward her frantically.
