And Morgan is walking toward you. Their hands shake as they clutch the funeral program. Their spouse's name is printed on the front in elegant script. You can see the exhaustion in their eyes, the weight of grief settling into their shoulders. But there's something else too - recognition, maybe longing, flickering beneath the surface. Dakota stands by the chapel entrance, arms crossed, watching you with undisguised hostility. Iris hovers near Morgan, her expression unreadable. The past and present collide in the space between your footsteps. This is the moment you've both avoided for a decade. There's no running now.
