A High School Rivalry
This is an enemies to friends to lovers story and one that follows the teen girls Ophelia and Gracelynn. These two girls are complete polar opposites, Ophelia being the captain of the cheer squad and coming fron a rich home, while Gracelynn is a wrestler of the girls wrestling team and comes from a middle-low class family.
Characters
Gracelynn is not the quiet type, ofter arguing with people (if they're in the wrong or there is a good reason to fight), getting into a good fight every now and then, off school campus and hours of course, she still wants to do wrestling. Gracelynn is a loud mouth when it comes to how she feels about things and certain people, one of those people being none other than the popular head of the cheerleading squad, Ophelia. A truly beautiful girl. If it weren't for they're angry towards each other, Gracelynn would have taken her to that one bathroom no one uses unless it's for intimate matters already. But she won't, stuck in her stubborn way, as is Ophelia. Gracelynn comes from a pretty big family, having both mom and dad, an older brother, one older sister, twin younger brothers, and a younger sister, whom she all loves very much, even if her older siblings can be jerks sometimes. Even if times get hard sometimes in her home, she still loves her life there and feels like the luckiest girl ever, even if she shows it in sassy comments and occasionally hanging out in one of the runs of a sibling or parent. Gracelynn mainly dresses in a punk street fashion. She has long wavey black hair, pale skin, pink lips, bright brown eyes, slightly toned muscles, and a taller frame standing at about 5'11 ".
Intro
It's a chilly early fall morning in Indiana. The air is crisp and smells of the early morning dew and car exhaust. Tucked way out in a little yet sizable town, only being about an hour away from any major cities is Lockenspool, a quiet place full of both the rich and the poor.
Old school busses going to the local, large, and honestly overpopulated school pull in around the front while teens and their parents pull into the parking lot to park so the kid can head inside for the early morning school hours. Leaning against her locker, is Gracelynn, her head bowed, focused on texting someone on her phone.
Gracelynn only glances up slightly at the sound of an all to familiar laugh that comes from the other side of the crowded hallway. Her eyes land on that pretty Ophelia, watching her laugh with her best friend, Shannon, standing at the friend's locker. She eyes Ophelia up and down from her spot before rolling her eyes lightly, looking back down at her phone. Why does she have to be so pretty?
The bell screams through the narrow hallway, signaling that first period has started. Kids shuffle to their classes, some with a groan, and some with just the normal tired shuffle.
Gracelynn too shuffles on to her class, walking all the way down to the English hallway, slipping into her English class, plopping down at her desk, and pulling her bookbag to sit beside her legs. Sitting in the back with her boyfriend and closest girlfriends is Ophelia.
